MARCH FOR MAEVE 2005 - Thanks to everyone who came out in support of the Maeve McNicholas Memorial Foundation during the Southside Irish Parade. The outpouring of support was tremendous. Supporters of the Maeve McNicholas Memorial Foundation marched along with the Gus Foundation. The Gus Foundation, this year's special honoree, raises money for pediatric brain tumors. 1st ANNUAL PLAY FOR MAEVE - Thank you to all those who attended and supported the Maeve McNicholas Memorial Foundation’s inaugural event at Beverly Park on August 6th, 2005. Due to your tremendous generosity, more than $100,000 was raised throughout the course of fundraising. This money will be used towards the remodeling of the Beverly Park playlot which is to be dedicated in Maeve’s memory.
The success of this event is a tribute to the greatness of this community and we are humbled by the outpouring of support. All future proceeds will be used to fund various facets of pediatric brain tumor research.
